The School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center offers graduate education leading to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and/or Master of Science (MS) degrees in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biomedical Materials Science, Clinical Health Sciences, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Nursing, Pathology, Pharmacology & Toxicology, and Physiology & Biophysics.  The Graduate School also offers a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences for the Maternal/Fetal Medicine and Professional Portal tracks. These broad-based and contemporary educational programs prepare students for a wide range of career opportunities in research, education, industry, governmental service (state and/or federal) and, if desired, for other educational experiences, advanced training, or practice.
